Sixty days. Exhibitions, performances, and lectures. We will realize participations which haven't materialised until now, expedite those which lie in the future, keep our promises, append new theoretical contributions, and ultimately give shape to the exhibition: that of the dispersed gesamtkunstwerk. COCO Bauernmarkt will close following the event on March 28.

Posture and Expression

How do body and language relate to a political attitude? Does a form of action already determine an attitude? Is the choreography of agitation a means of presentation or representation? How can agitation itself be communicated and depicted? And what happens when artists do just that? The exhibition raises questions about an aesthetics of political gestures and their transformative momentum in artistic works. A field of tensions emerges between action and discussion, enactment and reenactment, embodiment and portrayal.
